Latest govt job notification 2018 - Recruitment of 24 Graduate Engineering Apprentices (FACT)

Latest govt job notification 2018:- FACT (Fertilisers And Chemicals Travancore Ltd) has issued notification in order to conduct examination for the recruitment of 24 Graduate Engineering Apprentices (One year) under the Apprentices Act. Interested and eligible candidates may send their application along with attested copies of other relevant certifications to the below mentioned mail id on or before  21.10.2018 in order to be called (as per the selection criteria) for the written examinations.

Age limit

The age limit for general candidates - with date of birth on or after 02.10.1993

The age limit for OBC candidates - with date of birth on or after 02.10.1990

The age limit for SC/ST candidates - with date of birth on or after 02.10.1988

Age relaxation will be applicable as per the government rule.

Educational qualification

Candidates should posses a First class Engineering Degree (In a Govt. recognized course) in any one of these discipline with aggregate 60% marks for general candidates and 50% marks for SC/ST candidates in the relevant discipline and the candidates should not be having completed more than 3 years after the completion of their engineering degree as on 1^st Jan 2019.

Disciplines - Computer, Computer Science & Engineering, Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Instrumentation & Control, Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation.

Pay Scale

Period of Training will be one year as per the Apprentice Act and Stipend would be Rs.10,000/- per month.

Mode of Application

The candidates will get the application form in the website (www.fact.co.in), First they must download the application form and fill it up duly and send it to the below mail id with the scanned copy of following original certificates on or before 21^st October, 2018.

The scanned copy of following original certificates must be attached with the application mail :-

1. SSLC Certificate

2. Degree Certificate & Mark-list

3. For SC/ST candidates -  Caste Certificate & Non-Creamy Layer Certificate in the case

of OBC candidates (Issued latest by 6 months by an officer not less than the rank

of a Thahsildar)

4. Disability Certificate (For PWD candidates) from competent Medical Board.

The candidates who are willing to submit their application directly to the head office must attached the attested copy of above certificates and also the duly filled in application form.

Centre for examination

The written test shall be conducted at the Training Centre of FACT, Eloor, Udyogamandal,

Cochin.
